The Woodulator is a versatile audio processor featuring delay and pitch shift capabilities, drawing inspiration from analog bucket brigade delays. Alongside, it incorporates two adaptable modulators. Its pitch-shifting functionality is achieved through manipulating the delay line clock, distinguishing it from FFT-based methods. Here are some key features:
- Two pitch shifters offering upward or downward shifts aligned to harmonic scales or in chorus mode.
- Internal LFO or external side-chain as the modulator source.
- Modulator destinations encompass pitch frequency, pitch amplitude, delay amplitude, panning, feedback amounts, and Moog filter frequencies.
- Pitch frequency modulation options include up, down, or dual directions.
- Customize delay line color with LP/HP/BP/Moog filter and Saturation level.
- Incorporated HP and LP filters for input signals.
- Moog filter integrated with pitch output signals.
- Reverse mode available for pitch shifters.
- BPM settings can be configured, tapped, or synchronized with the DAW host.
- LFO Square provides slew-rate control (producing a triangle waveform at 100% control).
- LFOs feature a user-friendly beat/bar timing display.
- Ability to pan delay and pitch signals on a stereo bus/track.
- Synchronization of delay and pitch shifter timing with the bar or manual re-syncing for live performances.
- Stereo diff mode enhances mono sources into expansive stereo soundscapes.
